This year’s Annual General Meeting and Conference will be held at the UK Chamber of Shipping, 30 Park Street, London SE1 9EQ on Thursday 28 April. The Annual Dinner will be held at the Naval Club, Mayfair W1J 5NS in the evening.

The programme is in a similar format to last year and further details of the AGM agenda will be forwarded beforehand. The programme will run through the afternoon and is as follows:

1200  Registration and coffee
1230  Annual General Meeting (Phil Dulson, Chairman)( the AGM is for BTA members only)
1300  Networking Lunch
1400  Conference opens; Chairman’s welcome
1415  Welcome to the UK Chamber (Guy Platten, CEO, UK Chamber)
1430  The way ahead with the UKSR (Simon Barham, Director UKSR, MCA)
1510  A view of loss prevention Simon Swallow (CEO, Shipowners P&I)
1550  Tea / coffee
1615  The Damen RSD 2513 (Andre de Bie, Design & Proposal Eng’r, Damen)
1655  Discussion
1730  Close of Conference
1900  for 1930, Annual Dinner, the Naval Club, Mayfair W1J 5NS (lounge suit)

The event is kindly sponsored by Damen this year. Only the dinner will be charged for (£80 + VAT per head), however, delegates are asked to arrange their own accommodation as required.

As well as members of the BTA, all members of UK Chamber of Shipping, in particular those who attend the Harbour Towage Panel, are welcome and encouraged the attend the Conference and Dinner. This will provide an ideal time for professional members and tug operators to meet, update and to exchange ideas.
